After reading 'The Future of Mental Health - a Vision for 2015'...

I have written this with a view from both sides of the coin, of the Mental Health Services - as a long term Carer of a Service User (my son) and becoming a User myself, also having been part of the Patient's Council for over 8 1/2 yrs, so have heard many different views from patients during that time visiting the wards within the hospital. Through experience I can vouch for a lot of what is being said. p.s. It has been a long and winding road.

Letter sent to the Shropshire Star by a Service User who had attended the 'Coming in from the Cold' Conference

This Service User attended the 'Coming in from the Cold' Conference on 19th May 2006 and enjoyed it so much that they felt compelled to write the following letter to the Shropshire Star in praise of the event.
